Stanley went from a 100-year-old outdoor/utility brand to a lifestyle brand almost entirely through TikTok UGC. No brand refresh, no new logo, no agency rebrand. Just a flood of real people filming their Stanley cups in cars, at the gym, at their desk.
What’s interesting is they leaned in hard — started seeding creators with new colorways, but kept the content format deliberately raw. The brand identity basically lives in the UGC aesthetic now, not in any brand guidelines doc.
The problem they ran into in 2025-26 is consistency at scale. When your brand IS the UGC, you need a constant supply of it. Some brands are solving this with AI-generated video (tools like Adava generate product content from a URL or imported pic) to keep the calendar full between real creator cycles.
Makes me wonder if “brand identity” in 2026 is less about visual systems and more about content velocity. Anyone working on a brand that’s dealt with this?
